CONTINUUS PHARMACEUTICALS
Running after the 2023 workshops that took place on Monday, October 16 2023, the offsite facility tour will gave participants the opportunity to see the inner workings of CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals and see how attendees could take their own operations to the next level.
CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals is a spin-out company from a multi-year collaboration between MIT And Novartis on continuous manufacturing, who specialize in end-to-end integrated continuous manufacturing (ICM), with the application of novel process technologies that enable rapid production of pharmaceuticals at significantly reduced costs and better quality.
Hosted by CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals, attendees were able to visit two process development facilities, to see first-hand the state-of-the-art and fully integrated continuous manufacturing facility. The site visit enabled attendees to understand the potential and opportunities in ICM to improve affordability and accessibility of pharmaceuticals on a global scale and evaluate investment, implementation and build-out of commercial ICM plants.
With a recent $69.3 million U.S. government grant contract to facilitate domestic production of three vital medicines, attendees got to find out how CONTINUUS are enabling GMP end-to-end integrated continuous manufacturing.
Transportation will be provided to and from the conference venue to CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals.
